Everyone I know in one way has a Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and/or Snapchat account for use either for business or personal use. However, I’ve discovered recently that Instagram users are running into problems with their content not being seen by their current followers and/or new followers. What’s causing this; Instagram’s new algorithm. So, in this changing world of social media with algorithms and ads taking over getting in the road of content creators, what’s the solution for these users. May I introduce to you; Vero.
First let me give you some context into the change with Instagram’s algorithm. According to Instagram, their new algorithm works, as “The order of photos and videos in your feed will be based on the likelihood you’ll be interested in the content, your relationship with the person posting and the timeliness of the post. As we begin, we’re focusing on optimizing the order — all the posts will still be there, just in a different order.” (http://blog.instagram.com/post/141107034797/160315-news).
Because of this change, some users of Instagram have taken into finding a new app that will allow their content to be easily view by their followers without the constraint of ads and algorithms; Vero is one of those apps that people are looking into.
Vero is the next social media app that allows content creators to share whatever they want like books, movies, photos, locations, and music without having algorithms and ads getting in the way of their content. Signing up for Vero is simple; all you need to sign up is an email and password, then follow the prompts on your device in order to set up your account. Once your set up then you are taken to your home page.
Vero Home Page
When looking at the home page it’s simple and clean, with your posts being front and center. At the top of the page you’ll able to search on Vero, see your profile, collections, notifications, and messages from your followers. At the bottom of the page, you’ll see a plus arrow where you will able to create a post on Vero. You will be able to post photos, links, music, movies, books, and places just like posting on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
I have personally tried it myself with posting a movie recommendation and posting a project I created through photos. The layouts were easy to understand and follow along and it made it easy for me to post my content. The unique part of it was that I was able to tailor my posts based upon four categories which allowed me to tailor who sees my content;

At the end of the day, Vero is like having Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and Tumblr all in one app. If I was to recommend Vero, I would recommend you go check it out and see if you can add this to your collection of social media apps. If you want to learn more, check out the link below:
