Break & Enter

Brandon Police are still looking for a break & enter suspect who fled from a residence in Juniper Bay.

The incident happened this morning at 4:24am.  The owner of the residence was woken to a man rummaging through the room.

The man entered the home through the patio door and fled out the front door of the house when he was confronted.

A K9 unit was able to momentarily track the man until they lost his position.

Assault

The police responded to a 911 hang up call at a residence located in the 200 block of 1st Street late last night.

When the Brandon Police Service arrived, they found a female victim suffering from head injuries and required medical treatment.

A 28-year-old man is accused of assault and was arrested.

He was scheduled to appear in court this morning.
